As part of my work during Joshua Becker’s Uncluttered online course, I decided to take before photos of all the rooms in our house (with the exception of my daughter’s room). I will be able to look back on these one day and heave a sigh of relief that my home no longer looks like this (I hope).
Keep in mind as you look at these that our home is only about 1100 square feet, and has next to no closet space. Also, keep in mind that it is 100 years old, and under pretty much constant renovation at this point, hence the presence of drywall and copious amounts of tools.

The Third Room – a spare bedroom that is part studio, part sewing room, part storage room

Laundry Room / Half Bath
That is pretty much it! Plenty of room for improvement as you can see! Please note that no kitties will be decluttered during the course of this exercise. As you can see in the photos, they are strewn throughout the house, but I repeat, no kitties will be removed. The kitties wanted me to make sure that everyone knows that.
Stay tuned for some after photos as we work through the course, minimizing and decluttering!
I love that there is a cat in almost every room!
Good luck with the uncluttered course. I look forward to seeing your after photos!
Yes, the kitties are ever-present. It’s nice of them to allow us to live with them. 🙂
